Mrs. Carl Hines of Des Moines died unexpectedly Saturday, June 10, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Eva Wagner of Winterset. She was 61 years of age.
Mrs. Hines was a resident of Madison county most of her life, but had lived in Des Moines since 1957.
She was the former Louise Hamner, daughter of David E. and Eliza Robertson Hamner, and was born in Madison county March 14, 1911. She was married here to Carl E. Hines on March 6, 1929.
She was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, David E. Hines of Lorimor and Billie C. Hines of Albuquerque, N.Mex., five grandchildren; three brothers, Walter, George and Fred Hamner, all of Winterset; and three sisters, Mrs. Vernie Hammack and Mrs. Laura Rodriquez of National City, Calif., and Mrs. Eva Wagner of Winterset.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. E. E. Jandebeur; pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.
