Following the war, he was married at St. Joseph, Mo., on Aug. 30, 1919, to Mary Miley of Creston. They lived at Creston until 1929, when they came to Winterset. They operated a cafe here until 1936, when they moved to Cameron, Mo., and from there to Merriam, Kan.
