Services for Albert Dale Hindman, 69, rural Lorimor, who died Jan. 19 at the Winterset Care Center Center North where he resided, were held Wednesday, Jan. 22 at the Fellowship Church with John Safford officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Jasper County on Sept. 25, 1916, he was the son of Harvey and Myrtle Hodgson Hindman. He was a retired farmer and spent most of his lifetime in Madison County.
He was married to Mary Lee Rankin on Sept. 15, 1939 in Winterset.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Allan of Lorimor; daughters, Virginia Walker of Orrick, Mo., and Norma Leuty of Santa Rosa, Calif.; brothers, Leland Hindman of Earlham, Raymond Hindman of Indianola and Harvey Hindman of Lorimor; sisters, Lorena Dolmage of Waukee and Arlene Cutler of Marshalltown; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four half-brothers, and a half-sister.
