Sadie L. Hill, Winterset

Graveside services for Sadie L. Hill, 92, Winterset, who died Sept. 30 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the McGinnis Cemetery near Patterson with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating.

Born Jan. 14, 1895 at Ft. Dodge, she was the daughter of William and Sara Noteboon Brock. On Nov. 28, 1912 she was married to Wilbur C. Hill at Winterset. She lived most of her life in Madison County and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Dick of Winterset; a daughter, A. Marie Davis of Winterset; a brother, Myrtie Brock of Winterset; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, two sons, three brothers and two sisters.
