Funeral services were held at the Earlham Methodist church for Mrs. Clara Hickman Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Burial was made at Indianola. She had been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Males for the past three years. She was Mrs. Males' sister.

OBITUARY

Clara Amelia Hickman passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. V. H. Males, Sunday, July 16 at 4:35 p.m. at the age of 68 years, nine months, and four days.

She was born at Adel, Iowa, October 12, 1875, the daughter of Nathen and Marinda Holmes. She was united in marriage to N. B. Hickman in the year of 1895, March 2nd and to their union was born six children, four of which are deceased, and two living, Mrs. Edna C. Stout of Haddan, Kansas, Walter B. Hickman of Indianola, Iowa. Also four grandsons, two granddaughters, two brothers, Walter Holmes of Des Moines, Harry Holmes of Adel, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Harman of Colfax, and Mrs. V. H. Males of Earlham, to morn her lost and also a host of friends.
