March 18, 1970O. G. WALLACE Of Macksburg Dies
O. G. Wallace, a well-known resident of the Macksburg community, died Saturday, March 14, 1970, at his farm home. He was 68 years of age.
Mr. Wallace was born in Taylor county April 10, 1901, a son of Loa D. and Etta Cade Wallace. He had lived in Madison county since early youth. His life was spent in farming.
He was married Feb. 16, 1921, to Oreen Eyerly, who survives him.
Mr. Wallace was a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Melvin D. Wallace of Denver, Colo., and Gene C. Wallace of Lorimor; a daughter, Mrs. James Dolson of Wetsbaden, Germany; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Penn of DeSoto and Mrs. Velma Houghan of Des Moines; and two brothers, Delmar Wallace of Rippey and Don Wallace of Adel.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Macksburg United Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Kinsler. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
