ELMER HERRICK, 62, DIES IN COLORADO

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Bridgewater Iowa Methodist Church for Elmer Orville Herrick, former Madison county resident.

Mr. Herrick died Thursday, June 21, at Wray, Colorado, where he had lived the past four years. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Herrick farmed in Madison county from 1938 to 1947. He was a member of the Ivy Lodge, AF and AM at Truro.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, five children, Mrs. George Tracy of Winterset, Orville of Omaha, Melvin of Cumberland, Ia., and Vernon and Elmer J. of Wray; five brothers and sisters, James Herrick of Dexter, Earl of Clinton, Vennie Johnston of Bridgewater, Elma Reed of Marshalltown and Zola Hewitt of Corning.

Burial was at Massena, Iowa, with the Truro lodge conducting graveside rites.
