December 1969CHARLES HERRICK DIES IN IDAHO
Charles O. Herrick of Buhl, Ida., a former resident of Winterset, died Dec. 18 at his home in Buhl, after an extended illness. He was 83 years of age.
Mr. Herrick lived in Winterset from 1920 until 1934, and was employed by the Iowa Highway department. He moved from here to Idaho, where he was a highway department employee also. He had retired in 1952.
He was a member of the First Christian church in Winterset, during his residence here.
Survivors include his wife, of Buhl; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Callison of Winterset and Mrs. Geraldine Wiseman of Twin Falls, Ida.; a son, Russell Herrick of Buhl; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 21 from the First Christian church of Buhl of which he was a member. Burial was made in the Buhl cemetery.
