MRS. CHARLES HERMON DIED LAST THURSDAY

Life-Long Resident of This County Was 67 Years of Age

Mrs. Mabel Hermon, a life long resident of Madison county, died last Thursday, March 16 at the age of 67 years.

Mrs. Hermon was the former Grace Mabel Debord, daughter of Ed and Joan Debord, and was born Dec. 20, 1882. She was married to Charles W. Hermon on Oct. 14, 1899.

Surviving are her husband and nine children. The latter are Mrs. Esther Prichard of Winterset, Mrs. Dora Hulbert of Earlham, Mrs. Gretchen Wagner of Winterset, Edward Hermon of Winterset, Wesley Hermon of West Des Moines, Max Hermon of Sioux City, Mrs. Mary Rhodes of Independence, Betty Hermon of Winterset and Mrs. Virginia Noenick of Monrovia, Calif.

She also leaves 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held from the Richards Funeral home Saturday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. I. E. Linkletter, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
