Lois Hermon, Winterset

Lois Hermon, 86, of Winterset, died of a heart ailment Jan. 9, 1995 at the Winterset Care Center North. Funeral services were Jan. 12 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ann Epperson officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 2, 1908 in Wessington Springs, Minn. to Christopher and Clara Hendrickson. She had married Max Hermon on June 10, 1934 in Alton. She was a retired nurse and had lived in Winterset since 1967. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Shw was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include one brother, Robert Hendrickson of Torrence, Calif.; two sisters, Eleanor Hicks of Naples, and Dorothy Behrend of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Rhodes of Winterset and Dora Hulbert of Winterset.
