BLANCHE HEICHEL DIES AT 79 YEARS

Was Resident Of Madison and Adair counties Most of Life

Mrs. Herbert S. Heichel, a resident of Madison and Adair counties most of her life, died last Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Memorial hospital. She was 79 years of age.

Mrs. Heichel was a native of Aubudon county, where she was born Oct. 1, 1887. She was the former Blanche Linn, daughter of Aaron and Capitola Wight Linn. She was married to Herbert S. Heichel on March 19, 1913, at the Pitzer Presbyterian Manse. He preceded her in death in July 1966.

She was a member of the Fairview Congregational Christian church.

Surviving are two sons, Harold Heichel of Winterset and Floyd Heichel of Dexter; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lavonna Lowden of Winterset and Mrs. Ruth Faust of Mt. Ayr.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins funeral home in Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Blanche Linn Heichel was born Oct. 1, 1887 in Audubon County, Iowa and passed away Nov. 16 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Aaron A. Linn and Capitola Wight Linn. Most of her life was spent in Adair and Madison Co.

On March 19, 1913 she was married to Herbert S. Heichel at the Pitzer Presbyterial Manse. They established a home in Madison Co., Iowa.

To this union were born two sons, Harold of Winterset and Floyd of Dexter. She was a member of the Fairview Congregational Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 1brother. Surviving are her two sons, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Lavona Lowden of Winterset and Mrs. Ruth Faust of Mt. Ayr, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Collins Funeral Home Nov. 19, 1966 and burial was in Winterset Cemetery.
