Funeral services for John F. Waltz, 83, were held Tues., Sept. 3 at St. John's Catholic Church in Greenfield. He died on August 31, 1991, at Good Samaritan Center, Fontanelle.
Born in Audubon, he lived near Orient most of his life and was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons, John of Atlantic and Gary of Orient; a daughter, Sherry Ripperger of Creston; four brothers, Frank of Winterset, Louie of Stuart and Henry and Leo, both of Anaheim, Calif.; four sisters, Marie Farrell of Menlo, Ann Shea of Stuart and Gertrude Pleiss and Catherin Philbin, both of Omaha; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Stuart.
