JENNIE R. HEATER DIED HERE TUESDAY

Funeral Services Held Here Wednesday, With Burial at Macksburg

Jennie R. Heater, a resident of Madison county for 38 years, died at a nursing home near Winterset on Tuesday, June 23. She was 71 years of age, and had been in failing health for an extended period.

Miss Heater was a native of West Virginia, where she was born in Braxton county on April 9, 1882, a daughter of Uriah and Elizabeth Heater. She came to Madison county with her parents 28 years ago and her home has been in or near Winterset for many years.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian church. Nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Hiskey of Cedar Falls. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. S. C. Picken, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
