CHARLES G. WOOLERY, Truro

Services for Charles G. Woolery, 70, Truro, who died Monday, March 23, 1987, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Jim Patrick of Indianola officiating. Burial will be at the New Virginia Cemetery.

Born Dec. 7, 1916 in Warren Cunty, he was the son of Roy and Bertha Sayles Woolery. He was a retired engineer for the Natural Gas Pipeline Company at Truro and worked there from 1947 to 1981.

He served in the Pacific theater in the Navy from 1943 to 1945. He was a member of the VFW at Winterset.

Survivors include his wife, Darina Woolery of Truro; a daughter, Deanna Salmons and husband Eddie of Winthrop Harber, Ill; two grandsons, Kevin and Shawn; his mother of Leisure Manor at Osceola; and two step-grandchildren, Charlotte and Brian.
