Helen M. Watts, 71, of 2311 Brisbane St., Clearwater, died Saturday (March 21, 1987) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.

She was born in Clearfield, Iowa, and came here nine years ago from Winterset, Iowa.

She was a member of the On Top of the World Iowa Club, Clearwater.

Survivors include her husband, Harry B.; a son, Larry, and a daughter, Nancy Corkrean, both of Winterset; two brothers, Harold Hargin, Marion, Iowa, and Bill Hargin, Seattle; four sisters, Hazel Sullivan and Jessie Stanley, both of Omaha, Neb., Mildred Knapp, St. Louis, and Lila Stevens, Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. HELEN M. WATTS, Clearwater, Fla

Memorial services for Helen M. Watts, 71, Clearwater, Fla., who died March 21, 1987, at Clearwater, will be held Friday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Lautt and the Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born July 27, 1915 at Clearfield, Iowa, she was the daugher of Frank and Alice Darlington Hargin. She married Harry Watts at Winterset and was a homemaker. She and her husband were married 47 years.

Mrs. Watts spent most of her lifetime in Winterset until the past four years, when she moved to Clearwater. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, of Clearwater; a son, Larry M. Watts of Winterset; a daughter, Nancy M. Corkrean of Winterset; a brother, Bill Hargin of Oregon; sisters, Hazel Sullivan and Jessie Stanley of Omaha, Neb., Mildred Knapp of St. Louis, Mo., and Lila Stephenson of California; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
