Page 13LLOYD HAYMOND DIES IN OREGON
Lloyd W. Haymond, a native of Madison county and a resident of Winterset during his early life, died of cancer Oct. 3 at a hospital in Hermeston, Ore. He was 61 years of age.
Mr. Haymond was born here Feb. 4, 1907, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Haymond.
He had lived at Hermeston the last 10 years, and worked as a foreman of excavating crews on construction projects.
He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Addy of Madison county; two brothers, Eugene Haymond of Winterset and Woodrow Haymond of San Leandro, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Egy, Mrs. Joe Egy and Mrs. Hugh Welch, all of Winterset; and three grandchildren.
Burial with grave-side services was held Oct. 7 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, Wash. The Rev. Jack Neff, pastor of the First Christian church in Hermeston officiated at the services.
Mrs. Claude LeCocq has been in Hermeston with her sister for two months.
