Beverly Harvey, De Soto

Beverly A. Harvey, 71, of De Soto died May 30, 2004, at Winterset Care Center North.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery in De Soto.

Beverly Harvey was born Oct. 30, 1932 to Galen and Eva Hoy. She was a graduate of De Soto High School, Iowa Methodist Nurses Training, and Drake University. During her nursing career, Beverly volunteered her time in Mexico and Africa helping their people. She also worked at Earlham Savings Bank. She was a member of the De Soto United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Craig of Phoenix, Ariz., Lance of De Soto and Eric of Adel; her mother, Eva Hoy of Adel; two sisters, Arlene Cron and Galynne Chapman, both of De Soto; a brother, Terry Hoy of De Soto; and five grandchildren.
