DONALD WARREN Killed in Crash

Donald L. Warren of near Barney was killed last Wednesday, May 15, 1963, when the car in which he was riding crashed against a tree near Centerville. The accident occurred on Highway No. 2, four miles west of Centerville. The car, driven by Richard Trainer of Charles City, skidded off a 20-foot embankment before striking the tree.

The driver of the car received a concussion, and a fractured shoulder.

Mr. Warren was 43 years of age. He engaged in farming in Walnut township, and worked in construction. He had just started a construction job the day before his death.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Warren of Lorimor; two daughters, Donna of Des Moines and Beatrice at home; his mother, Mrs. Belva Warren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Barney church, in charge of the Rev. Patrick Fredde. Butial was made in the Barney cemetery.
