BESSIE MILISA WARREN, Winterset

Graveside services for Bessie Milisa Warren, 79, Winterset, who died Nov. 3, 1985, at the Winterset Care Center South, where she resided, were held Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines with the Rev. Peter Quiring officiating.

Born at O'Fallon, Ill., on Feb. 3, 1906, she was the daughter of John and Ella Van Fleet Bell. She spent most of her life in Winterset and Des Moines and was a seamstress. She married Errol Warren July 14, 1928 at Des Moines.

Mrs. Warren was a member of the Lutheran church and belonged to the Calvary Lutheran for the Deaf in Des Moines. She was also a member of FRAT, an organization for the deaf.

Survivors include a daughter, Nellie (Jones) and her husband Ervin; three grandchildren, Arthur Jones of Des Moines, Janice Sigall of California and Merrie Jones of Des Moines; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Diane, both of Des Moines.

She was preceded in deaath by her husband, parents, a brother and a sister.
