Lee Edward Graspy

Lee Edward Graspy, son of William and Judy Hamner Graspy, was born in Madison county, Iowa, October 25, 1903 and passed away at his home in Winterset April 2, 1931, aged 27 years, seven months.

He spent his boyhood on the farm. He was married to Miss Eva Jones March 4, 1926. God blessed their lives with one son, Robert William, now aged two.

Besides his parents, wife and child, he is survived by five brothers and two sisters; Mrs. Vira John, Forest Graspy, Wallace, Everett, Amos, Ivan and Miss Ona.

His early death in the brightest days of young manhood is a deep grief to all his relatives and friends.

The funeral was held at the Tidrick funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30. The service was in charge of Rev. W. C. Porter, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, and burial was in Union Chapel cemetery.
