MRS. EARL HANDLEY DIES AT 60 YEARS

Mrs. Earl Handley of New Virginia died Wednesday, March 13, at at Des Moines hospital. She was 60 years of age.

Mrs. Handley was the former Leona L. Jackson daughter of Byron and Gertie Hiskey Jackson. She was born in Union county Sept. 27, 1907. She was married to Earl Handley at Gravity on March 23, 1929.

Mrs. Handley is survived by her husband; a son, Jack Handley of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Vada Shelly of Winterset and Helen Jackson of Lorimor; and a brother, Ralph Jackson of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the New Virginia Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Anthony Pettrone. Burial was made in the Lorimor Cemetery.
