March 1969LeROY WEAVER Of Winterset Dies
LeRoy E. Weaver of Winterset, a retired farmer and resident of this county the last 20 years, died last Wednesday, March 19, 1969, at a Winterset nursing home. He was 83 years of age.
Mr. Weaver was a native of Adair county, where he was born Aug. 7, 1885, a son of Alvah and Clara Barnett Weaver.
He never married and nearest surviving relatives are four brothers and two sisters. They are: Mrs. Iva Beem of Winterset, Mrs. Ocia Carl of Stuart, Walter Weaver of Greenfield, Everett Weaver of Bridgewater, and Gilbert and Rex Weaver of Greenfield.
Funeral services were held Thursday from Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Edward R. Zaizer of Martensdale. Burial was made in the Greenfield cemetery.
