JAMES W. WEAVER, Oskaloosa

James Wesley Weaver, 78, died Fri., Feb. 19, 1993, at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa. Funeral services were held Tues., Feb. 23 at the Bates Funeral Chapel with burial at the Pleasant Divide Cemetery southwest of Eddyville.

Mr. Weaver was born January 15, 1915, at Peru to James and Caroline F. (Scholl) Weaver. He married Huldra Selby at Oskaloosa on July 8, 1939. He was employed as a shop mechanic at the Madison County Maintenance Depatment for 28 years until he retired in 1981 and moved to Oskaloosa. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry A. Weaver of Urbandale; and one grandson.
