Clara Hamner, Winterset

Clara Pearl Hamner, 85, died April 21, 1993 at Winterset Care Center South. Funeral services were held April 23 at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Mrs. Hamner was born July 25, 1907 in Clark, Mo. to George and Nettie (Brown) Wagner. She married George Hamner June 27, 1925, in Winterset. She lived in Winterset most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and one granddaughter.

Surviving relatives two sons, Harvey R. Hamner of Des Moines, and Ronny J. Hamner of Winterset; a daughter, Ruby Patterson of Winterset; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
