Wednesday, December 4, 1968CLIFTON HAMILTON DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Clifton Hamilton, a former resident of Madison county, died Sunday, Dec. 1 at his home in Springlake, N.C. of an apparent heart attack.
A son of Mr. and Mrs. Hays Hamilton, he lived here for many years before moving to Lebanon, Mo., from where he moved to North Carolina.
He and Mrs. Hamilton observed their forty-second wedding anniversary Thanksgiving day.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Gailen of Calif., Virginia of Peoria, Ill., and Mary of Springlake; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Taylor of Winterset.
