Brant Hamilton, Earlham

Brant Thomas Hamilton, 6, of Earlham died Oct. 29, 2005, following a two-year battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held today (Wednesday, Nov. 2) at 2 p.m. at the Earlham School Auditorium with Pastor Charles Thompson officiating.

Brant Hamilton was born Dec. 13, 1998, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines to Craig and Julie Hamilton. He was a first-grader at Earlham Elementary. Brant participated in Cub Scout activities and was active in sports prior to his diagnosis in the fall of 2003.

He is survived by his parents, Craig and Julie of Earlham; two brothers, Bradley and Braydon Hamilton of Earlham; his grandparents, Larry and Kaye Hummel of West Des Moines and Chuck and Betty Hamilton of Cedar Rapids; and his great-grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Watkinson of Riverside.

Arrangements were handled by Kuhn Funeral Homes of Dexter, Earlham and Redfield.
