Wednesday, May 31, 1961HAM HAMBLIN DIED MONDAY AT MACKSBURG
Ham Hamblin, a long-time resident of Macksburg died at his home there Monday, May 29, after several months of illness. He was 82 years of age.
A son of Josephus and Rachel Hamblin, he was born in Monroe township Oct. 16, 1878. His entire life was spent in Madison county. He engaged in farming until 1919 when he moved into Macksburg, where he worked as a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife and two sister, Mrs. Mary E. Rogers of Lorimor and Mrs. Kate Flynt of Anderson, Ind.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the Macksburg Methodist church. Burial will be made in Moon cemetery.
