MRS. MARY A. WELLS Dies At Durant

Mrs. Mary A. Wells, a native of Winterset and a former school teacher in this community, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 1960, at Durant. She was 92 years of age.

Mrs. Wells was the former Mary Annette Kiser, daughter of William and Jane Kiser. As a young woman she taught school in Madison county, and in Colfax.

She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Wells. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Miller of Durant and Mrs. Margaret Fear of Bozeman, Mont.; a son, Paul Wells of Davenport; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. W. P. Benge of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Nov. 20 from the Colfax Christian church, with burial in the cemetery there.
