NETTIE F. WELCH Died Last Friday

Mrs. Frank E. Welch of Winterset, a life-time resident of this community, died Friday, Oct. 6, 1967, at Memorial hospital here. She was 78 years of age.

Mrs. Welch was the former Nettie Floy Mills, daughter of Albert and Mary Ann Lucas Mills. She was born in Madison county Dec. 1, 1888.

She was married at Winterset on Oct. 7, 1908, to Frank E. Welch. His death occurred March 26, 1964.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Welch was the last surviving member of a family of seven children.

She is survived by three children, Raymond Welch of Belle Plaine, Hugh Welch of Winterset, and Mrs. Dallas Crabbs of Winterset; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. Dr. Paul M. Hann of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
