Mrs. Jane Turner died at the home of her son, Walter Turner, in Truro, Monday (June 8) at one p.m., at the age of 79 years.

Mrs. Turner was the widow of the late Peter Turner, who preceded her in death nine years ago.

While she had been in frail health for several years, her last sickness extended over a period of eight weeks, and was pronounced as a decaying of the spine.

Hers was a noble Christian character, which was truly exemplified in her daily walk through life. She was a devoted student of the word of God, and took an active part in church life as long as her health permitted.

She leaves to mourn her departure four sons: Walter of Truro, James of Winterset, William of Des Moines and Fred of Milwaukee; also two brothers and one sister, A.B. Moorman of Des Moines, H.D.Moorman of Reeds, Mo., and Mrs. Gray of Portland, Ore.

Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. F. C. McCallon of the Church of Christ, were held from the Tidrick funeral home Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, assisted by Rev. Earl B. Clark of Murray.
