Winterset Madisonian - May 25, 1966

Mrs. James B. Tracy of Winterset, died Sunday, May 22, at Memorial hospital, at the age of 68 years.

Mrs. Tracy was a native of Adair county, where she was born March 24, 1898. She was the former Tressa May Campfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Campfield. She had lived in Madison county since 1934.

She was married Jan. 9, 1918, to James B. Tracy. His death occurred in 1956.

She was a member of the Christian church of Greenfield.

Mrs. Tracy is survived by a son, James E. Tracy of Winterset; a grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Ainslie of Lorimor and Mrs. Fenner Osborn of Winterset; and a brother, James Campfield of Hardy, Ark.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
