Services for Beulah Grout, 93, Winterset, who died Jan. 31 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Patterson on Aug. 24, 1894, she was the daughter of Samuel and Alia Jan Gillogly Blosser. She was married to DeLos Grout on March 1, 1916 near Patterson.
She was a resident of Winterset 25 years, coming from a farm near St. Charles. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Grout of Newton; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and three sisters.
