HENRY GRIMES OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Funeral Services and Burial Held Last Thursday At Peru

Henry C. Grimes of St. Charles died Tuesday, July 25, at his farm home northwest of Truro. He was 83 years of age.

Mr. Grimes was a member of a family well known in that community. His entire life was spent in farming in Madison county.

A son of George W. and Penelope Imes Grimes, he was born in this county May 27, 1884. He was a member of the Peru Methodist Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Charles Grimes of St. Charles and Arthur Grimes of Peru.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Peru Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Nicholson. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
