Howard Greenwood, 72, of Clive died of a respiratory ailment May 16, 2000, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Friday May 19, at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Howard Greenwood was born in Monmouth, Ill., and resided in the Des Moines area for most of his life. He was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Barbara Johnson of Le Grand and Kimberlee Greenwood of Des Moines; two stepsons, Stephen Perkins of Louisville, Ky., and Mark Perkins of Des Moines; brothers-in-law, Keith Tucker (wife Ruth) of Winterset and Max Tucker (wife Mary Jo) of Macksburg; and five grandchildren.
