Ruby Green, 87, died July 25, 1998 of respiratory failure at Integrated Health Services in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday July 28, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Burial was at Lorimor Cemetery.

Ruby Green was born Nov. 2, 1910 in Union County, Iowa to Elmore George and Rosa (Bollei) Parrott. She married Lyle Green on Dec. 20, 1933 in Madison County. A homemaker, Ruby was retired from farming. She had been a resident of Madison county since 1976.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Dudney (husband Floyd) of Lorimor; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
