Funeral services for Ruby B. Gray, 79, were held Tues., April 2 at Collins Funeral Home, Winterset, with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. She died March 28 at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

Born in Madison County June 26, 1911 to David and Emma (Haines) Algoe, she lived in Winterset before moving to Crestline, Calif., 15 years ago and then to Arizona. She was a homemaker and a member of Paradise Valley Baptist Church in Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Elbert Gray of Phoenix; two sons, LaVon of Stagecoach, Nev., and Robert of Crestline, Calif.; two daughters, Donna Wooley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Darlene Hamilton of Marshalltown; three sisters, Goldie Lightner and Pearl Tyer both of Winterset, and Elsie Satterlee of Bentonville, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church.
