Page 6, Column 5ROBERT GRAY DIES AT AMES WEDNESDAY
Robert E. Gray, formerly of Winterset, suffered a fatal heart attack last Wednesday afternoon, June 5, at Ames. He was enroute from his work at Iowa State university to his home in Ames, when stricken.
Mr. Gray was 51 years of age. He lived in Winterset for a number of years, but moved from here to Ames where he was serving as business manager at Memorial union on the Iowa State university campus.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Honor Gray, who is employed as a secretary at a law firm in Ames; a daughter, Mrs. Adah Marie Hyatt of Frankfurt, Germany; a son, Thomas Gray, who is a student at Iowa State university; and a daughter, Kathy, a student at Ames high school. He also leaves a grandson, Robert Hyatt.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Christian church in Ames, with burial held Monday at the Ames cemetery. The burial services was delayed until Monday, pending the arrival of the daughter, Mrs. Hyatt from Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Arling Smith of Winterset attended the funeral service Saturday.
