Hazel Dawn Wilson Whinghter, 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died May 12, 2001, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 15, at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Cincinnati.
Dawn Whinghter was born March 2, 1923, in Winterset to Eldon and Carita (Neeley) Wilson. She had been a bookkeeper with Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George A. Whinghter; and a brother.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Regester (husband Greg); a sons, Joe Whinghter (wife Sally); two brother, Richard Wilson (wife Carolyn Farr-Wilson) of Winterset and Arnold Wilson of Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Carolyn Jamison of Sun City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati.
