PEARL WESSLUND Of Van Meter Dies

Mrs. Clarence Wesslund of Van Meter died Monday, March 18, 1968, at a Des Moines hospital, after an extended illness. She was 77 years of age.

Mrs. Wesslund was a life-time resident of Dallas and Madison counties. She was the former Pearl D. Webster, daughter of David T. and Dora Murray Webster, and was born in Dallas county April 7, 1890.

She was married to Clarence Wesslund in Van Meter Nov. 27, 1912. They spent their entire married life farming in Dallas and Madison counties, until 10 years ago, when they moved into Van Meter.

She is survived by her husband; a sister, Mrs. Maude Hazen of Altoona; a niece and nephew.

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter, conducted by the Rev Donald Jones. Burial was made in the Van Meter Cemetery.
