Hazel J. Gray, Winterset

Services for Hazel J. Gray, 76, Winterset, who died Sept. 12 at the Care Center North, were held Friday, Sept. 15, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on Sept. 28, 1912, she was the daughter of Jessie and Elcy Jones Bush. She was married to Harry L. Gray on May 30, 1930 in Winterset.

Mrs. Gray was a waitress and housekeeper at a hotel and restaurant. A lifetime resident, she was a member of the First Christian Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, John of Winterset; seven grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a brother.
