1960MACKSBURG NATIVE DIES IN WASHINGTON
William A. Graham, age 89, who was born near Macksburg in 1870, died December 16, at his home in Spokane, Washington. He was the eldest of 8 children, a son of Samuel A. Graham and Elizabeth Thomas Graham. He lived in that community, and was married to Miss Ora Bonham, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bonham of Macksburg.
Following the marriage, the couple located on a farm, near that of his parents, near Macksburg, and were the parents of 7 children, Edna, Leslie, George, Clarence, Chester and Ruby. A son, Morton, born in Great Falls, Montana, after they moved there, died during infancy. In 1915, the Graham farm was sold to a brother, Robert C. Graham. The William Grahams later moved from Great Falls to Spokane, where he dealt in real estate.
The Grahams have visited in Madison coounty a number of times since they left, the last visit being in 1953. He is survived by his wife, and their children. He also leaves a brother, Ernest of Macksburg, and several nieces and nephews in that community.
