Queenie Reva Gracey, a native of Truro residing in Des Moines, died Friday, October 26, 1973, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She was 69 years of age.
Mrs. Gracey was born June 1, 1904 the daughter of Mark and Inez Bonney Isenberger. She was educated in Madison county schools and married to Doyle Gracey, December 25, 1920 in Osceola. Five children were born to the couple.
Mrs. Gracey was affiliated with the Methodist church of Truro.
Survivors include four daughters; Esther Marie LaRock of Stanton, Calif., and Ruby McCarl, Merylin Susan Tuttle and Mary Wittington of Des Moines. Also a son, Doyle D. Gracey of Palms, California.
Sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive Mrs. Gracey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson and a brother.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 29 at 1:30 p.m. from the Kale Funeral home in Truro with burial at the Young Cemetery, Truro.
Rev. Richard Hempenius of Truro officiated.
