Resident There Since 1914 Died May 15 at Age of 54 Years
Mrs. Alonzo Gracey, a resident of the Truro neighborhood since 1914, died at her home there May 15. She was 54 years of age.
Mrs. Gracey was the former Lillian Lenore Malquist, daughter of Neal and Marguerite Wilson Malquist and was born at Norway, Mich. on Aug. 6, 1889.
In 1913 she was married to Alonzo Gracey at Fairfield, and they moved to Truro the following year.
In addition to her husband she is survived by five children, Mrs. Lucille Stone of Burlington, John Gracey of the U.S. army, Foss Gracey of the U.S. navy, and Lois and George Gracey at home. One son, Eugene, died at the age of 13 years.
She also leaves a granddaughter and one brother, David Malquist of Nevada.
Funeral services were conducted from the Kale Funeral home at Truro in charge of the Rev. Van Vilet. Burial was made in the Field cemetery.
