Verna Marie Robinett, 86, of Winterset died May 22, 1999 of Parkinson's Disease at Winterset Care Center South. Funeral services were May 25, 1999 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Pastor Ben Turner officiated the service and burial followed at Lorimor Cemetery.
She was born May 20, 1913 in Peru to John and Bertha (Carpenter) Verwers. She married Harold Robinett on May 12, 1935 in Winterset. She was a retired nurses' aide at Madison County Memorial Hospital and lifetime resident of Madison County. She was a past member of Barney's Ladies' Aid and Ladies' Missionary Society of Deer Creek Chapel Church and a member of the First Church of God in Lorimor.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving relatives include her husband; one daughter Jeanett Albright and husband James L. of Cedar Rapids; one sister Vera Smith of Winterset; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
