Robert Gould, St. Charles

Robert L. Gould, 64, of St. Charles died Nov. 26, 2003, at Mercy Hospice.

Memorial services were held Sunday, Nov. 30, at Hamilton's Funeral Home (near Highland Memory Gardens) in Des Moines. A private family burial was held Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Robert Gould was born Jan. 30, 1939, to Fred and Eva Gould of New Market. Bob was manager and CEO at Midland Credit Union, retiring in 2003 following 32 years of service. He had lived on his St. Charles farm for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Credit Union League.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eldon.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Gould of St. Charles; a son, Doug Gould of Ankeny; a daughter, Susan Dingle of Houston, Texas; a sister Lois Downing of Grant City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
