FRANK C. GILLESPIE Services Thursday

Funeral services for Frank C. Gillespie, formerly of Crawford township, who died Sunday night in Chicago, will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. John's Catholic church in Des Moines.

Mr. Gillespie was the son of James Gillespie, a pioneer settler of the Irish community in Crawford township. He was born and reared in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of that township, but had spent most of his active life in Des Moines. Of late years he had made his home with a daughter in Minneapolis, Minn., and Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Gillespie was 76 years old at the time of his death. His wife, the former Elizabeth Quinn, died about six years ago.

He is survived by one son, James Gillespie of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Farrell of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mary Gillespie of Chicago, and Sister Mary Francisco of Clinton; a brother, Thomas Gillespie of Crawford township; and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Boudewyns of Des Moines.
