Services for Loren R. Goode, 69, Indianola, who died Oct. 14 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be held on 1:00 p.m. Friday at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola with the Rev. Oren Potter officiating. Burial will be at the St. Charles Cemetery.
Born at Rock Rapids on Jan. 17, 1917, he was the son of Frank and Malinda Benge Goode. He was married to Doris Estell in 1935 at Winterset.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He had been a plant manager for Wells Aluminum Co. in North Liberty, Ind.
Survivors include his wife of Indianola; a son, Larry and wife Mary of Des Moines; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Irma Johnson of Indianola.
Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, with the family receiving friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
