Funeral services for Hazel N. Goettsch were held June 2 at the Church of Our Fathers, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, California.

She and her husband Clarence Goettsch, who preceded her in death, were residents of Winterset from 1935 to 1961. During those 26 years they owned and operated the Coast-to-Coast Store here.

While in Winterset, Hazel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was active in the Pythian Sisters.

Surviving is a sister, Fern Hansen of Long Beach, California; a daughter, Lorraine Dunn, also of Long Beach; two sons, Gilbert Goettsch of Casa Grande, Arizona and LaVerne Goettsch of Morton, Illinois. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
