Andrew David Goff, 17, of Winterset died from injuries sustained in a 4 wheeler accident July 23, 2000 at Bluff Creek in Mahaska County.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday July 27, at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 26 at First Baptist where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Graceland Cemetery, Knoxville.
Andy Goff was born Jan. 13, 1983 in Oskaloosa to David and Alethea (Hugen) Goff. He would have been a senior at Winterset High School this fall. His hobby included 4-wheeling and dirt bikes. Andy especially enjoyed all of his friends, including his special friend Robyn Allen.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alethea and Mark Williams of Winterset; a sister, Anna Goff of Winterset; grandparents, Faye Hugen of Oskaloosa, Sharon and Dick Greenlee of Centennial, Wyo.; and Tom and Jo Goff of Knoxville; great-grandfather, Burris Goff of Knoxville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund established for the Andy Goff Scholarship at Farmers & Merchants State Bank, P.O. Box 29, Winterset 50273.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
