Thomas Wiedmann, 70, of Prole, died of heart failure on Feb. 7, 1995 at the Iowa Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were Feb. 10 at the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at Churchville.
Burial was a the Calvary Cemetery in Churchville.
He was born in rural Warren County and was a retired Firestone Tire and Rubber Employee. He had also retired from farming. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Churchville; the Knights of Columbus; and Izaak Walton League.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Tom Wiedmann of Cumming, Jim Wiedmann of Prole, and Bob Wiedmann of Prole; one brother, Pat Wiedmann of Norwalk; four sisters, Mary Strable of Winterset, Ellen Dooley of Martensdale, Margaret McLaughlin of Cumming, and Alice Harkin of Des Moines; and nine grandchildren.
